Good afternoon! We are excited to announce we will not be having our pancake breakfast this weekend as we typically do! We will however be having it Sunday June 14th as part of the June Days celebration! Please join us that day for breakfast from 7-11 and then stay in town for the parade and festivities!

Bruce was an absolute force in the fire service. His leadership turned MABAS into what it is today. He will be deeply missed by anyone who knew him. Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Beloit Professional Fire Fighters Local 583 is deeply saddened to announce the passing of City of Beloit Fire Department Deputy Chief Bruce Hedrington.

Bruce was hired by the city and worked his way through the ranks to Deputy Chief. Chief Hedrington also served numerous years as Deputy Chief of the South Beloit Fire Department, and he was instrumental in introducing MABAS to the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin area.

Bruce lived for the fire service, and loved serving the public. You will be missed more than you know Boss.

We will raise a Diet Coke, and maybe a shot of Jack, in your memory in the next few days.
