In honor of National Beard day we'd like to introduce one of our professors who has a fabulous beard and even greater teaching skills!

Brandon Amacher is the director of our Emerging Tech Policy Lab at UVU. He helps to prepare students to enter the work force by leading research on AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies' impact on national security. He teaches technology security policy and cyberwarfare, provides training for government and industry, and previously worked at Mandiant and FireEye advising on cyber threats and threat intelligence.

If you haven't take a class from him yet, consider his Cyber Policy class taught in the Spring Semester.

Happy National Dog Day!

Did you know that the CIA uses dogs to help detect bombs? They use a training program that lasts approximately six weeks to help the dogs learn the specific scents associated with explosive materials.
