BOIL ORDER LIFTED NOTICE

Date: June 13, 2026

The City of Oregon Public Works Department is pleased to announce that all required water quality samples have passed testing and the mandatory boil order has been lifted.

The boil order was issued following water main repairs and a temporary loss of water pressure in portions of the water distribution system. Laboratory results have confirmed that the water is safe for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and all other normal household and business uses.

Affected Areas:
• Lovers Lane
• N 14th Street
• Terrace View Blvd
• Illinois Street
• N Illinois Street
• Williams Drive

Effective Immediately:
All boil order restrictions have been removed.

Residents and businesses may resume normal water use. If you experience any temporary discoloration, run cold water for several minutes until the water clears.

The City of Oregon Public Works Department appreciates the patience and cooperation of all affected residents and businesses during this repair and testing process.

BOIL ORDER NOTICE

Date: June 12, 2026

The City of Oregon Public Works Department has issued a mandatory boil order for residents and businesses in the following areas due to a loss of water pressure within the water distribution system.

Affected Areas:
• Lovers Lane
• N 14th Street
• Terrace View Blvd
• Illinois Street
• N Illinois Street
• Williams Drive

Boil Order Effective:
Immediately

Residents and businesses in the affected area should bring all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and food preparation to a rolling boil for at least five (5) minutes before use.

The boil order will remain in effect until water samples are collected and laboratory testing confirms that the water is safe for consumption.

Please Note:
• Water samples require approximately 24 hours to process after collection.
• The boil order will remain in effect until satisfactory test results are received.
• Residents may experience temporary discoloration or air in the water lines. If this occurs, run cold water for several minutes to clear the lines.
• Updates regarding the status of the boil order will be posted on the City of Oregon page.

Boil Order Notification:
Once the boil order has been lifted, all affected households will receive a green tag placed on their door indicating that normal water use may resume. Residents are also encouraged to monitor the City of Oregon page for updates and notification that the boil order has been lifted.

WATER MAIN SHUTDOWN NOTICE

Date: June 12, 2026

The City of Oregon Public Works Department had a contractor conducting water main repairs. During the repair, we encountered valve issues. Unfortunately, this has left certain areas without water.

Affected Areas:
• Lovers Lane
• N 14th Street
• Terrace View Blvd
• Illinois Street
• N Illinois Street
• Williams Drive

Shutdown Begins:
Immediately

Estimated Restoration:
5:00 PM Today (June 12, 2026)

Residents and businesses in the affected area may experience a temporary loss of water service and possible discoloration when service is restored.

After water service returns:
• Run cold water for several minutes to clear any air or discoloration.
• Check faucets and fixtures before normal use.

All areas without water will be placed on a mandatory boil order until we can obtain passing water samples.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as crews work to complete this necessary work.
