Today's Youth Apprenticeship Spotlight series features Avery, who works as a File Clerk at Tri-North Builders, Inc.

In this role, Avery enjoys assisting with office tasks, such as filing records, calendaring, printing, and organizing.
Avery's Personal Finance course was essential in preparing for this capstone experience.

Sophomore and junior years are the perfect time to investigate Youth Apprenticeship options.

Forest Edge recently celebrated its second annual Marigold Festival! 💛The marigold symbolizes growth, connection, and the strength of our multilingual and multicultural community. As our end-of-year celebration, the festival brought students, families, and staff together to enjoy delicious dishes from Forest Edge multilingual families, local food trucks, face painting, marigold-themed crafts, and meaningful time spent in community.

It was a joyful evening of connection and celebration, honoring a wonderful year of learning, growth, and belonging.

What started out as attending a national conference for some of our OHS student leaders resulted in an amazing event showcasing inclusion and diversity! Last week, students at Oregon High School hosted a special multicultural community event.

The event kicked off with a keynote by Gloria Ladson-Billings, followed by various activities, including food trucks, a resource fair, music, and dancing.

THANK YOU to our student leaders for organizing this phenomenal evening and to our many staff members for their support and leadership throughout. In addition to taking away important learnings from the conference, you successfully put them into practice and shared them with our community! ❤️You truly made a difference and spread great joy through this inaugural event.✨
