To Meyers Road Senior Center, where care meets compassion and every moment is dedicated to enriching the lives of our beloved seniors. As a family-owned and operated business with a decade-long legacy of excellence in Adult Foster Home (AFH) services, we take pride in our commitment to providing unparalleled care to those we have the pleasure of serving.
Our goal:
To create a place of warmth and safety that is conducive to maintaining positive living. We offer a relaxed and supervised environment where seniors can thrive. Providing one-on-one, hands-on techniques and group activities with the hope of promoting a sense of well-being, mind, body and soul.
Our staff:
Our compassionate staff members are not just activity workers, they are caregivers; that are passionate about aging gracefully. We employ hands-on techniques to promote tranquility and a sense of well-being in every interaction. Staff are trained in working with the elderly, CPR and First Aid certified. Also, we are trained in working with cognitively challenged individuals.
Who we serve:
We welcome seniors from all walks of life, whether they seek a few hours (respite) or a full day of engagement. Our intimate setting is designed to support:
*Seniors living at home. We understand the importance of combating self-isolation and boredom while fostering independence and a sense of community. At Meyers Road, every senior finds a place to belong and a purpose to embrace.
*Caregivers. For those caring for loved ones you are tasked with a demanding job. What you give of yourself in the caring of others is admirable. Taking time-out to care for yourself is important for personal well being. Bringing your loved ones to us during the day could give you the opportunity to relax, have a spa day, a date with your significant other or a long awaited lunch with a friend, etc. Having the peace of mind that your loved ones are in a safe and homelike environment.

*Daytime respite
* Furnished bedroom for afternoon naps.
* Foot care with a licensed RN.
* Contract RN.
*Ministry outreach.
Activities: That sets us apart.
*Seasonal activities such as afternoon socials on the large covered patio (spring/summer).
*Fun engaging garden activities such as planting and watering (spring/summer)
*Love animals? Get to participate in important day-to-day activities with our very own chickens (TBA).
* Like to bake/cook? help make a nice treat for fellow seniors and staff to enjoy (with staff supervision)
* Spa day (day and time TBA).
* Arts and crafts and much more.
