The wading pool will be closed tomorrow and Saturday and we will do an evaluation on Sunday about operating hours next week once we know more about the weather. Due to current predictions, we may not be opening next week due to low temperatures and rain and potential storms. Please check our website at our current schedule tap for the most up-to-date information and our social media.

Staff prepared this past week for the opening of our seasonal outdoor wading pool.

This is located at 1211 Jackson Street and is free to use.

It will be open Monday through Fridays from 9:30 AM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 7 PM. On Saturdays it’ll be open from 12 PM to 5 PM. This year it will be lifeguarded to help it be more safe for kids, and since it will be monitored, there are some rules we will help educate about including no large inflatables, inner tubes, toys that’ll spray other kids, showering before going in the water, no food or drinks in the water or close to it, and kids will need active supervision while in the pool.

Schedule Changes: If the weather is below a high of 70° or there is a chance of thunder or rain, it will be closed which might take place later this week. We will also only have it open from 9:30 to 2 PM on Tuesday as we are doing an open house to start planning for a new aquatic and recreation facility on Tuesday evening and want to invite all staff and patron to participate in that. Check our other posts for information on our open house.
