Rotary Club of Oregon City Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million people. Rotarians provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

www.rotary.org The Rotary Club of Oregon City meets every Wednesday at the Providence Willamette Falls Community Center located at 515 15th St., in Oregon City. Meetings are from noon -1:15 p.m. The program includes a catered lunch, presentation and fellowship. If you'd like to visit, please contact one of our members, come on your own or send us a message. What an inspiring presentation by Tina Irvine from Clackamas Women's Services (CWS)! 🙌 She's a 20-year Rotarian who truly embodies the spirit of 'Service above Self' in her remarkable work with this local non-profit organization.

CWS provides a wide range of essential services, including support, advocacy, and education, for those affected by domestic and sexual violence. Their tireless efforts have made a significant impact in the community, and it's incredible to see the difference they're making in people's lives. In addition, the Rotary Club of Beaverton shared a message about their Global Grant project in Uganda. They donated $55,000 which was matched by District Grants and RI Grants, tripling their efforts to "Unite for Good". This is what donations to TRF (The Rotary Foundation) can do to make a difference in our communities as well as the world.

RCOC has some great presentations each Wednesday on pertinent information for our local community but one of the most inspiring was last Wednesday from Oregon City's Youth Advisory Commission. YAC is composed of 15 High School Students whose passion and knowledge of politics outweighs most adults. They are our future, and I for one am encouraged! FYI - if you know of a young high school student with a passion to make a difference for good, there will be openings this year on the commission.

A great meeting this past Wednesday. So proud to be able to give Bridget Bailey from OCHS and a member of JROTC a 2K scholarship for college, honoring President Tim Cook from CCC for the awareness he has brought for students’ basic needs at Community Colleges, and an inspirational presentation from Michelle Leigh, the Director of Oregon City children’s Theatre, where no child is ever turned away.
