Last year, our high school band competed and received straight “4s.”

Today, they returned to competition in Weld County and earned straight “2s,” including a “2” in sight reading. (For reference, a 4 indicates a poor performance, while a 2 reflects excellence.)

This remarkable growth is a testament to the dedication, resilience, and pride our students bring each day. in action.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work and outstanding performance, especially as they rose to the occasion while missing two key members of the ensemble.

Great job to our students, and congratulations to Mr. Kouba for his leadership and commitment to excellence.

Today was an incredible day as these students proudly represented Crowley County!

These Chargers received a rare and special honor, personally invited by State Representative Ty Winter to sit on the floor of the House during live voting and debate, an opportunity that doesn’t come around often.

They were also introduced to State Senator Rod Pelton, making the experience even more memorable. What began as a scheduled tour quickly turned into something unique, as Representatives were so excited to have these students present that their own staff stepped in to provide a more personalized experience.

Our 5th–8th grade girls had a great opportunity today attending Girls in the Middle at Otero! 💜

This event gave our students the chance to learn, connect, and be encouraged as they grow into confident young leaders. We’re grateful for opportunities like this that empower our girls and help them see all the possibilities ahead of them.
