I live in the state of Nebraska in the USA and I developed this design into a canoe paddle

The fact is, I can do various designs with almost any state and perhaps a Canadian province.

I do this by hand and it does take a bit of time. As a general rule six weeks is the norm.

The designs can be deer, elk, antelope, bears,sheep or whatever.

So many LEO’s began their character building lives as a Boy Scout and so many achieved the highest rank on Boy Scouts (The Eagle). I am proud to carve these boxes for a young person.

They measure about 11” X 8” X 3” and are felt lined inside both upper and lower. It is Mahogany wood.

A few years ago, four Canadian agencies banded together to host the North American Wildlife Enforcement Officer’s Association’s annual conference.

I created this paddle to commemorate the event.

Many years ago, I was trained to carve designs in gunstocks and I did master that but I wanted to do more. One day, I was in a Walmart and spied a rack of wooden canoe paddles and a carving idea was born! Then, along came the technique called cast ivory inlay. I did not invent it but I have perfected it and I can carve about anything one would want!

These items make great gifts or maybe just because a persons wants one!
