Orcutt Expanded Learning's Summer Camp is off to a terrific start! Grouped by animal name (Alligators, Sharks, and Cheetahs are just three of the groups), the 200-plus participating students participate in a four-class morning rotation that includes reading, math, SEE Learning, mystery science, physical education, and more. Afternoons continue with recreation, games, crafts, assemblies, and other enriching activities. Special thanks to everyone involved in planning a special summer for students!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Orcutt Academy High School's Class of 2026!! Friday's graduation ceremony gave the impressive group a fitting send-off, as a huge crowd enjoyed speeches by Valedictorian Mia Giboney, Salutatorian Alianna Rosas, ASB President Ashley Han, and Principal Rhett Carter before cheering on each student during the distribution of diplomas. Congratulations to the 23 Olga Reed School students who are headed to high school after a very special promotion ceremony on Thursday! This event was special. As always, students presented a red rose to a parent as thanks for love and support, but this time students also presented a rose to their teacher, Mike Luis, who is retiring after 33 years at the school. Many of Mr. Luis' former students and colleagues got into the act, coming to the event to thank him for the impact he has made. Olga Reed will miss Mr. Luis and its Class of 2026, but we also are remembering the school's credo, "Once a Bronco, ALWAYS a Bronco!!"
