Orchard Park Fire District will be hosting a press conference on Thursday morning, April 16 at 11 o’clock regarding new proposed legislation to retain and bring on new members. Any volunteer fighter interested in coming for the press conference, please reach out and wear your uniform. We are assemblying at 10:30 am at Taylor Rd.

Just after 0130 hrs. on 3/17/26 the Windom Fire company and Orchard Park Fire District were alerted to a possible garage fire at 205 Shadow Lane. It was quickly confirmed by police. Unfortunately the wind assisted the fully involved garage and spread to the adjacent garage with some minor extension to the townhouse. No one was injured. Special thanks to the Town of Orchard Park Police, highway departments and our mutual aid fire departments for their quick assistance.

Today is Noah Coughlan's 92nd day running across the nation. This is the fifth and final leg of his journey across United States. He aims to be the third person to cross all 50 states on foot, and the first to do so with an American flag.

His mission is simple: he runs to promote unity, to recognize everyday Americans, and to pay tribute to first responders and veterans.

Thank you, Windom, Fire and Hillcrest fire company for your assistance and keeping Noah safe!
