I was happy to congratulate Mrs. Susan Stott on her retirement after 36 years of teaching tonight and to chat with her and her husband Dave. They are really nice folks and apparently she really likes ladybugs (inside info from Abby). Mrs. Stott taught all three of my kids keyboarding and technology/computers at Ellicott Elementary and taught my twins STEM this year. Unlike a lot of teachers, she taught kids in each grade at Ellicott, so she got to see her students grow from kindergarten all the way through fifth grade. Thank you Mrs. Stott for all that you did for your students over all your years of teaching! Enjoy your retirement! 🐞

To answer any remaining questions, please send them to Tom and Ryan through their website. They will be setting up a virtual debate, and offering the same questions to all the candidates (if they choose to participate), so that you can see their responses to the same question. Our goal is transparency, and to ensure that you know our approach is always evidence based and policy driven. No politics or partisanship. Check back at the website to submit your questions. We don't have time to answer every question between now and this Sunday, so we will have a neutral moderator select the questions that seem to come up with the greatest frequency, and a broad selection of topics.

Please remember to vote on May 17th, at the Orchard Park High School from 7 am to 9pm. Please use the Freeman road entrance. Bring your ID for proof of residency. We hope that you agree with our approach to continuing the educational excellence that has been established in Orchard Park, and will consider casting your ballot for Ryan Anderson and Tom Provost!

If you are not going to be in town on May 17 to vote in this high stakes School Board election, please use this link to obtain an absentee ballot!! EVERY VOTE COUNTS!

Click the link and then print it out and mail it in. It has to reach the District office 7 days before the election if needing a mail in ballot, and 1 day before if the ballot will be taken to someone to vote. College students? Differently abled neighbors? Let's help them remain active in the community and help them get their absentee ballots.
