To Orchard Lake Special Assessment District (SAD) Members:

Please find this correspondence in reference to the additional herbicide treatment that will take place on Monday, June 15, 2026. Attached is a map of the areas of the lake to be treated. Also, per the attached notice, swimming or bathing in the water is restricted until Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Please also be advised that irrigation of ornamental plantings and turf grass is restricted until Thursday, June 18, 2026 for those affected areas.

🚧 Road Paving Update 🚧

The following roads are scheduled to be paved today, Wednesday, 06/10/26, and tomorrow, Thursday, 06/11/26, weather permitting:

• Shore Dr
• Sunset Blvd
• Arcadia Dr
• Fairlawn Terr
• Ideal Pl
• Woodlawn Ave

Please use caution when traveling in these areas and expect possible delays. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this road improvement project.

We are aware that some compost and yard waste collections were missed by Priority Waste yesterday. We are actively working with them to ensure pickups are completed as soon as possible, hopefully within the next day or two.

***OUTDATED Post - the roadway has been reopened.***

Old Orchard Trail is closed to all through traffic between Pontiac Trail and Willow Lane due to an electrical pole down across the roadway. Please avoid the area and seek an alternate route.

DTE has been notified but there is no estimate for when the road will reopen.

Update on the road paving for the proposed roads in Shady Beach Subdivision. They plan on starting milling and prepping starting Monday, June 8th. Monday and Tuesday will be prep work and then they will begin paving on Wednesday and hopefully completing it on Thursday. Obviously, the schedule is based upon weather.

The main area of concern as far as ingress and egress for the residents is Shore Drive since it has a dead end on both sides and it is narrow. On Monday, the residents may want to park their vehicles up Shady Beach Drive in order to be able to get out. There will be a lot of trucks and equipment when milling and they may block a good part of the road. On Wednesday when they pave, the residents will not be able to access their homes while paving is going on due to the fact that a majority of Shore Drive, both ends, is narrow and they will be paving in one pass.

The rest of the roads that are being paved are not as critical as Shore Drive to do the fact that here is more than one way to access them and not a dead end.

All vehicles will need to be moved by 7am.

Milling/prepping on Monday 06/08 & Tuesday 06/09 starting at 7am.

Paving on Wednesday 06/10 & Thursday 06/11 starting at 7am.
