We are saddened to share that we lost a deeply valued member of our staff this past week.

Kenneth Glover was a dedicated public servant, a loyal friend, husband, and father of five sons. A constant presence in the SC State alumni community and in his hometown of Orangeburg, Ken will be deeply missed by so many who's lives he touched.

We send our deepest sympathies to Ken’s many friends, family, and community members who are reeling from the news of his sudden passing, as all of us are.

Ken spent some of his last days playing a critical role in our campaign and advancing the values we all share. It is in his honor and memory that we look forward to carrying this campaign to victory.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Kenneth R. Glover, former Chairman of the Orangeburg County Democratic Party and our current Executive Committeeman.

Chairman Glover was a dedicated Democrat, a respected community leader, and a tireless advocate for the people of Orangeburg County. His commitment to public service and the Democratic Party extended over many years. He worked on and managed numerous campaigns at the local, statewide, and national levels, always believing deeply in the importance of civic engagement and the political process.

More than a political leader, Kenneth was a friend, mentor, and source of wisdom to many within our Party. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer advice, make a phone call, or do whatever was necessary to support our candidates, our members, and our community. His service as Chairman helped strengthen the Orangeburg County Democratic Party, and even after his tenure as Chairman, he remained actively involved and continued serving faithfully as our Executive Committeeman.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, The Honorable Pandora Jones-Glover, his children, grandchildren, and the entire Glover family. We are grateful for the many years Kenneth devoted to our Party and community. His leadership, friendship, and unwavering commitment will be deeply missed.
