☀️The National Weather Service is seeing a hot and dry trend developing across our area. With these conditions comes an increased risk for outdoor fires to spread quickly.

🚒The Orange Fire Department reminds citizens that outdoor burning is prohibited in the City of Orange. Limited exceptions to the ban are found in the City of Orange Code of Ordinances Article 6.600- Outdoor Burning, found here: https://loom.ly/2MKnJik

Requirements for an exception include:
🔥Fires must be contained
🔥Fires are limited in size
🔥Restrictions apply to what materials may be burned
🔥All fires must be always attended by someone age 18 or older
🔥An appropriate method of extinguishment must be readily available

Please use extreme caution with any outdoor fire and make sure you are following all city requirements. 🚒Contact the Orange Fire Department for more information or any questions at 409-883-1050.
