In accordance with additional state holiday hours granted by the Governor's Office, the Town Manager has authorized the closure of Town offices at noon (12:00 p.m.) on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Town offices will also be closed on Monday, September 7th for the Labor Day holiday. There will be no trash collection on this day. A town-wide trash collection will take place on Tuesday, September 8th.

TOWN OF ORANGE, VIRGINIA is currently accepting applications for a full-time Auto Mechanic in the Town Public Works Department. A full job description may be obtained from the Town’s Public Works Department located at 235 Warren Street, Orange at www.townoforangeva.gov. To be considered for the position you must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have valid Virginia Drivers license. Commercial drivers license is a plus. Salary Range $42,834 - $61,777.
