🎉 60 Years of Fletcher Academy! 🎉

What an incredible day celebrating six decades of learning, memories, and community! Former staff joined us to take a walk down memory lane, browsing yearbooks, and reminiscing about their time at Fletcher. Our teachers had fun dressing up in the decade they were in kindergarten, and students and staff cooled off with a special Kona Ice treat to mark the occasion. Thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone celebration so memorable. Here’s to 60 years of Falcon pride and many more to come! ❤️💛

¡Qué día tan increíble celebrando seis décadas de aprendizaje, recuerdos y comunidad! Miembros del personal de años pasados nos acompañaron para recordar viejos tiempos, hojeando anuarios y compartiendo recuerdos de su paso por Fletcher. Nuestros maestros se divirtieron vistiéndose según la década en que estuvieron en kínder, y los estudiantes y el personal disfrutaron de un delicioso Kona Ice para celebrar este día tan especial. Gracias a todos los que hicieron posible esta celebración histórica. ¡Por 60 años de orgullo Falcon y muchos más por venir! ❤️💛

Cheers to 60 years! ✨ Our anniversary celebration was one for the history books. A huge thank you to our Board Members, Superintendent, district leaders, brilliant student performers and readers, and our dedicated past and present teachers for making this milestone so unforgettable. We love our school community! 💙

¡Salud por los 60 años! ✨ Nuestra celebración de aniversario fue histórica. Un enorme agradecimiento a los miembros de la junta, al superintendente, al personal del distrito, a nuestros brillantes estudiantes (¡artistas y lectores!) y a nuestros dedicados maestros del pasado y del presente por hacer que este hito fuera inolvidable. ¡Amamos a nuestra comunidad escolar! 💙

What started as Principals’ Day last Friday turned into an entire Principals’ Week of surprises! My heart is officially overflowing after being showered with so much love from my incredible staff and students.
Also, a huge, heartfelt thank you to our amazing PTSA for the thoughtful gifts! 💝

¡Lo que comenzó como el Día de la Directora el viernes pasado se convirtió en toda una Semana de la Directora llena de sorpresas! Mi corazón está oficialmente rebosante después de haber recibido tanto cariño de parte de mi increíble personal y de los estudiantes. ¡Muchísimas gracias de todo corazón también a nuestra maravillosa PTSA por los detallistas regalos! 💝

On Wednesday, April 22nd, we celebrated our fantastic office staff for Admin Professionals’ Day! The work they do every day keeps our school running smoothly! Thank you, Mrs. Valerio, Mrs. Mejia, and Mrs. Guillen! 💗💗💗

Our Fletcher Flying Falcons represented on Saturday at the Kids Run the OC. Most of them have been running since early this school year in order to prepare for a marathon, where they ran their final mile on Saturday! Congratulations to the runners and to their coaches, Coach Miles and Coach Horeczko, for working hard this year! Next up…Carnival of Champions - our OUSD track and field event! 🏃🏻🏃🏻‍♀️

Nuestros Fletcher Flying Falcons nos representaron este sábado en el Kids Run the OC. ¡La mayoría de ellos han estado corriendo desde principios de este año escolar para prepararse para un maratón, y este sábado corrieron su milla final!
¡Felicitaciones a los corredores y a sus entrenadores, el Entrenador Miles y el Entrenador Horeczko, por trabajar tan duro este año!
