Summer gatherings and backyard BBQ’s are in full swing! Keep your post-event cleanup effortless by properly sorting your waste into our three-cart system.

Here is your quick guide to summer sorting:

🔵 Blue Lid: Recycling
Aluminum Foil and Trays: Give them a quick rinse to remove grease, then toss them in!
Plastic Party Cups: Clean plastic cups are recycling superstars.

🟢 Green Lid: Organics
Popsicle Sticks: Plain wooden sticks are compostable and belong here.
Sticky Napkins: Sauce-covered napkins and paper towels are "food-soiled paper," perfect for this bin.

⚫ Black Lid: Trash
Snack Wrappers: Chip bags and frozen treat wrappers (mixed materials) go here.
To-Go Cups: Paper cups with plastic linings can't be recycled or composted.

Safe and Sane Fireworks may be used on the Fourth of July from noon to 10 p.m. in certain areas of the City.

⚠️ Fines exceeding $1,000 may be imposed for violating the City's Safe and Sane Fireworks ordinance and the City will be monitoring illegal firework activity with the assistance of City drones.
