While that smell of turkey roasting in the oven along with the mouth-watering aroma of freshly baked pumpkin pie seem like they shouldn’t even be on your mind, it is in fact time to start thinking about Thanksgiving. More specifically, it is time to adopt your Marines for Thanksgiving!

Once again, the citizens of Villa Park have committed to adopting over 100 of these young men from Camp Pendleton this Thanksgiving. They need you!

Please take a moment to go to http://www.villapark.org/marines and click on the “Adopt a Marine this Thanksgiving” button. Follow the instructions to register and make payment.

If you have any questions or concerns, please click on CONTACT at the website note above and send a message.

'Villa Park Jewel' SOLD OUT!!!

Who knew that we could sell 700 plants in 3 weeks? Certainly not the grower who last Fall propagated 700 flowers for us to sell. Our small community came through with a tremendous response to the 'Villa Park Jewel', and we regrettably can not take any more orders.

Since mother nature needs her time to make new plants root and grow, we sadly have to wait until early next year for any more plants. We apologize for any inconvenience and realize many residents will be disappointed. Sue Kaiser will be contacting those of you whose orders cannot be filled (and payments will be returned).
