It’s time again for the Orange Public Library Foundation’s popular free money management seminar, “It’s Your Estate” Workshop Series. Everyone is welcome, no products will be sold, and your personal information will not be shared.

Meets on every Tuesday, September 15 – October 20, from 10:00 – 11:30 am in the Community Room at the Orange Public Library & History Center. Ages 18+.

• What is the very first question you should ask your financial advisor?
• What are the best ways to leave your IRA, 401(K), and other retirement assets to your heirs?
• How much income tax is your estate going to pay?

The Orange Public Library & History Center will close Friday, September 4 at 2:00 pm and Saturday, September 5, all day, due to the International Street Fair.

All Orange Public Libraries will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Libraries will re-open Tuesday, September 8, regular hours.

Attending the Orange International Street Fair during September 4-6? Enjoy convenient, easy parking in the Orange Public Library & History Center parking lot for a small fee; all proceeds support the Orange Public Library Foundation.

Did you know Orange had a women’s softball team that won nine national championships? During the month of August, we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the first game the Lionettes played. According to the Orange Daily News dated Wednesday, August 12, 1936, they played against the Dixon’s Chevrolet Girls of Los Angeles. Lionettes won 17-6.
