While we are always committed to caring for animals in need, we want to share several wonderful rescue organizations in and around Southeast Texas that may be able to help families needing to rehome a pet or those looking to adopt. In observance of Memorial Day, the Animal Shelter will be closed on Monday, May 25th, 2026. The shelter will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026.
