We would like to congratulate some of our LCMCISD Transportation Department Employees on your years of dedicated service to our district.

Bus Driver, Michael Hudnall with 5 years; Mechanic, Stevie-Ray Franck with 5 years; Bus Driver, Charla Vasquez with 10 years; and Director, Georgia Nichols with 10 years.

We also would like to recognize our Employee of the Year, Transportation Secretary, Cindy Ferguson.

Thank you to all of you for your dedication, hard work, and your continued commitment in helping assist in the safe transportation of our Students.

MAY BIRTHDAYS!!
Everyone please wish a very happy birthday to our Transportation Employees who celebrated their birthday's in the month of May. Shequita Franklin is our Bus Monitor for Route 31. Donna McClanahan is our Bus Driver for Route 19. Olivia Hudnall is our Dispatcher. Tasha Broussard is a Bus Monitor in our Grow Program. Happy birthday to all of you. You definitely deserve to be celebrated! 🎉🎂❤️

Good morning. Due to some minor electrical issues, high school students will have a late start at 10 AM. No high school students will be picked up until after 8:30 AM. To clarify, all Junior High and Middle School students will be picked up at their normal time. High school only students will be picked up at 8:30 AM or after. Please make sure all Highschool students are out at 8:30 am to ensure they are picked up. We cannot pinpoint pickup times when these necessary changes must occur. Thank you for your understanding.

Good afternoon. Please be aware that Route 11 WILL run tomorrow morning, 5/15/26. This route was previously scheduled to not run the AM or PM route tomorrow. The rest of the previous changes sent on 5/11/26 will remain the same. This means Route 11 will still not run Friday or Monday afternoon, 5/15/26 and 5/18/26. A reminder of these changes are as follows for 5/15/26 and 5/18/26: Route 11 will be dropped off by Routes 14 and 13. Route 12 will drop off YMCA for the Primary route. All drop off times may be delayed for all of these routes. Thank you for your understanding.

Good afternoon. There wil be no Route 19 pm bus this afternoon, 5/14/26. Routes 7, 15, 21, and 23 will be bringing home all students from Route 19. Route 20 will have no changes. Also, there will be a sub driver on Route 23. Please be patient with delivery of your student(s) as this was necessary to be able to have all of our students transported safely to their designated drop off locations. This will more than likely cause delays to Primary and Secondary routes on the Mauriceville side of the district. This could also cause delays to the afternoon Shuttle Routes as well. Good evening. Bus drivers have or will start collecting your students Smart tag badges. We know how summer is and we do not expect students to keep up with their badges all summer. We will keep these for your student until next school year. These will be distributed back to students at the beginning of the new school year. If your student has a badge and does not ride the bus, they will turn these into their campus in either their Homeroom class or Advisory class. We are trying to eliminate the need for students to re purchase the badges that were supplied to them by our district after summer break. We appreciate the cooperation. Have a great evening.

Good afternoon. There will be sub driver on Route 29 on Thursday, 5/14/26. Please make sure students are at their designated pickup locations in the morning and please be patient as the sub driver is trying to deliver the students safely to their designated drop off locations in the afternoon.

Also, Route 29 will have a sub driver on Monday, 5/18/26, in the afternoon only. Please be patient as the sub driver is trying to deliver the students safely to their designated pick up locations. Thank you.

Good afternoon. Route 11 will be picked up and dropped off Wednesday, 5/13/26 through Friday, 5/15/26 by Routes 14 and 13. Please make sure all students are at their designated pick up locations. Route 14's Primary shoud be close to their normal pick up times. Route 11's Primary will be about 20 minutes behind their normal pick up times. Route 14's and Route 11's Secondary will not start pick up until around 7:15 a.m. South Teal area from Route 11 will be picked up 20 minutes earlier than their normal scheduled pick up time for Primary and Secondary routes. In the p.m., Route 12 will drop off YMCA for the Primary route. All drop off times may be delayed for all of these routes. Please be patient with these drivers as they are making these adjustments to be able to get all students to and from school safely.

Also, on Monday, 5/18/26, Route 11 will be dropped off by Routes 14 and 13. Route 12 will drop off YMCA for the Primary route. All drop off times may be delayed for all of these routes. Thank you for your understanding.
