The Clay County Libertarian Party expresses sympathy for the victims of the shooting in Jacksonville. The Neo N**i ideology that motivated this attack is irrational and repugnant. We advocate for individualism, non aggression and freedom, which is antithetical to bigotry and terrorism.

Hate should have no home in our community.

Vote no on extending this tax.

Clay county voters will have the opportunity to vote on whether a property tax hike should remain in effect for another 4 years. This is the property tax increase passed by voters in 2018 to secure schools. Much of that money went to starting up a school district police force.

The total number of registered voters in Clay County is 163,258! Next Tuesday, October 11, is the last day to register to vote for the 2022 General Election.
