Unique call in the books today.

E33 arrived on scene of a bear cub stuck in a palm tree and requested SQD68 for additional manpower.

FWC was on scene prior to and throughout the incident, requesting assistance and coordinating the safe capture.

Crews placed a ladder to access the tree while a tarp was positioned below. The cub fell safely onto the tarp and was successfully secured by FWC.

Strong teamwork and a safe outcome for everyone involved 🐻🌴

used batteries are one of the leading causes of fires in recycling trucks, facilities and landfills?

Even a single damaged or crushed battery can spark a fire, putting workers, communities and infrastructure at risk. Keeping batteries out of your household recycling and trash bins is one of the most important safety steps you can take!
