St Landry EMS was founded in 2004 with just a handful of people dedicated to improving patient care in Opelousas, La. We have since grown our fleet, personnel and our coverage area. We now have multiple crews running every day covering all of St Landry Parish as well as Avoyelles parish. We carry only the latest equipment available to treat our patients to the highest level of care possible. We ar

Acadian Ambulance can confirm that one of our ambulances was involved in a vehicle accident this morning. There were two fatalities. We are cooperating with the law enforcement officials investigating the scene and have no other information to release at this time.

The entire Acadian family extends our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and of the injured.
