Join us as we gather to honor and remember on the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.
The St. Landry Parish Government and the St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial invite the public to attend our September 11th Commemoration Ceremony. Together, we will pay tribute to the 2,977 victims lost, the 441 first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and all the families whose lives were forever changed.

⏰ Time: 8:30 A.M.
📍 Location: St. Landry Parish Courthouse
⚠️ IMPORTANT PARKING & TRAFFIC NOTICE: To ensure safety and honor our local emergency personnel, parking spaces in front of the St. Landry Parish Courthouse will be strictly RESERVED for First Responders (Sheriff, Police, Marshal Units, Fire Trucks, and Ambulances).
Additionally, the Courthouse Square will be BLOCKED from the corner of West Landry Street to Bellevue Street for the duration of the ceremony.
We encourage our entire community to attend as we stand together to remember and honor those who serve.

🦠 Learning About Germs! 🦠

This week, Ms. Elizabeth and Ms. Willa’s class are learning all about germs! We are discovering how germs can spread from our hands to the things and people around us. Through fun, hands-on activities, we are learning why it is so important to wash our hands with soap and water, cover our coughs and sneezes, and keep our hands away from our faces.

Our little learners are becoming Germ Fighters and learning healthy habits that help keep themselves and their friends safe and healthy! 🧼🫧👏
