A tidbit on the shed:
Under the shed is a "hit and miss" gasoline engine that was used as the power source for the silo loading elevator.

David Briggs provided this photo of the silos -- with a shed in front of it! Isn't this cool? Date unknown. Click to see full picture.

David advised that to his knowledge, communicated from his father, they used a "slip form and mortar/cement with broken bricks for the fill aggregate (the equivalent of rocks in concrete) The broken bricks came from a brick manufacturing plant that was located where Belmont/Sheriff's office is presently.
