One special moment captured exactly what we hoped this space would become. As a gentleman quietly waited for his wife to finish shopping, the children naturally gathered around him for conversation and companionship. It was a simple but meaningful example of the sense of community and inclusiveness we intended this area to create.

Auburn First Baptist Church supports the Community Market in so many meaningful ways. Church members volunteer at the market by stocking shelves and serving customers. They also made a three-year commitment of $10,000 each year to the Community Market capital campaign, and their youth group committed to giving $5,000 each year.

We are thankful for their kindness, generosity, and dedication to serving our community.

We were grateful to welcome the team from Auburn First Baptist Church for their First Saturday of the Month service project at the Community Market.

With many projects needing attention, volunteers jumped right in—moving bread to a new aisle, creating space for seasonal items, relocating pet food, and helping set up our new TANF boxes for families with children under 18.

Additional projects included flattening bags, assembling makeup bags, and cleaning both the multipurpose room and volunteer room. Every volunteer worked with a joyful spirit, positive attitude, and a willingness to serve wherever needed.

We are thankful for their hard work and the difference they made for our shoppers and community! 💙
