Opelika Sportsplex Summer Camp PlexCamp is a day camp for 1st-6th graders. It is divided up into 4 2-week sessions. Activities include swimming, field trips, crafts, sports, etc.

PlexCamp is a day camp for completed 1st-5th graders. It is divided into 4 2-week sessions for a total of 8 weeks over the summer. Daily activities include swimming, nature hikes, crafts, sports, relays, and both local and out of town field trips. Camp hours are 7:45-3:00 each day. Session I Dates: June 2-13
Session II Dates: June 16-27
Session III Dates: June 30-July 11
Session IV Dates: July 14-25

Good Afternoon

We are excited to announce that registration for summer camp begins TOMORROW at 8am at the Opelika SportsPlex & Aquatics Center. Registration will also be offered online through the SportsPlex’s website. For any questions on prices please feel free to call the SportsPlex at 334-750-5560.

We are also in need of counselors for camp. If you know of anyone who would like to be a counselor, please direct them to the SportsPlex to fill out an application. Must be the age of 18+

The 2021 Plex Camp will soon be underway, and we couldn’t ne more excited ☺️

Below you will find information on camp dates, prices, and registration.

Registration begins on Monday, May 3rd at 8AM. Registration will end when all slots for each session is completely full‼️

There will be NO squeeze in slots‼️

Tomorrow’s trip is to Chuck-E-Cheese. Campers are to wear red shirts and tennis shoes. Campers will NOT need a lunch. Extra money isn’t required, but campers are welcome to bringing some.

Today’s trip will be to Wild Animal Safari. Be sure that campers wear their red shirt and tennis shoes. They WILL also need a lunch. They are allowed to bring electronics to take pictures. Please make sure that he/she knows that he/she is responsible for the electronic. Extra money is needed for the gift shop!

Tomorrow’s trip is to Cyber Zone! Please make sure that your camper has on his/her red camp shirt and tennis shoes! Campers WILL need a lunch! If the camper wishes to play in the arcade he/she WILL need to bring extra money. Play cards start off at $5.

Today’s field trip is to the bowling alley in Auburn! Please make sure that campers have on their red tshirt & tennis shoes! They will NOT need a lunch today!

Tomorrow will be our first field trip! We will be traveling to the movies. Campers need $5 for this trip. If they wish to get candy they will need to bring extra money. Campers will also need a lunch & be sure to wear tennis shoes and RED camp shirts!

TOMORROW is the big day! We’re very excited to see new and returning campers! Remember campers WILL need a lunch tomorrow. Make sure they wear tennis shoes and plenty of bug spray and sunscreen!

It’s almost the 2nd most wonderful time of the year ... Plex Camp registration 🏕 Please see the dates below to know which day registration starts for your particular city.

May 6th and 7th: Opelika Residents ONLY‼️(If you live outside of Opelika you will NOT be able to register on these days)

May 8th until registration closing: Opelika/Auburn/Surrounding cities‼️

This year will be another great summer for the kiddos. Please do not hesitate to call the Opelika Sports Plex if you have any questions! See you all in June ☀️

This year has been one for the books! On behalf of this year’s camp staff we would like to say thank you for letting us look after your camper(s). We are sad to see it come to an end. On behalf of myself (Kinara) I would like to say thanks for making these past 4 years the BEST summers a girl could have. Especially when it comes to taking care of 50+ kids lol. Tomorrow will definitely be bittersweet for me.
