We went all out for our final day of youth camp! Tigertown Sports hosted us for putt-putt and beach volleyball, followed by the ultimate movie morning with a private showing of Super Mario at AMC. Turn & Burn food truck kept us fueled with the best hamburgers and hotdogs around, and we said our final goodbyes poolside at Covington Rec.

3 days. Countless memories. Best camp ever.

We hope the kids have a wonderful summer break!

The last day of camp was a blast! We kicked things off at Tigertown Sports, testing out our mini-golf skills and getting a little competitive on the volleyball court. After working up a sweat, we headed over to AMC Theatres in TigerTown for a private screening of The Super Mario Galaxy movie. A huge thank you to our amazing donors for treating everyone to the full cinematic experience with popcorn and drinks! All that fun worked up an appetite, and Turn & Burn came through with delicious hamburgers and hotdogs for the best lunch. We wrapped up this incredible last day by cooling off in the pool at the Covington Recreation Flournoy Aquatic Center for one last swim. A very special thanks to Coach G for driving us all around Opelika today!

Today’s Opelika Police Youth Camp took us on an amazing adventure!

We made some new animal friends at Choctafaula Safari Park, fueled up with a delicious lunch from Marco's Pizza, and made a splash at the Opelika Parks & Recreation Covington Recreation Flournoy Aquatic Center. We wrapped up the perfect day by beating the heat with sweet treats from O Town Ice Cream!

Day 1 of Youth Camp is officially in the books, and it did not disappoint! We hit Floral Park for some intense kickball, refueled with Chick-fil-A Tiger Town, and caught some pool time at Covington Rec. Even when the storm rolled in, nothing could stop the fun—we just took the party inside for an epic dodgeball tournament in the gym!

We had such a fantastic first day of the Opelika Police Youth Camp! It was wonderful to spend the morning at Opelika Parks & Recreation Floral Park, simply enjoying the outdoors and a few friendly games of kickball. After a delicious lunch from Chick-Fil-A Tigerttown, everyone cooled down at the Covington Recreation Flournoy Aquatic Center. A little afternoon rain gave us the perfect excuse to come inside for a game of dodge ball.

We are looking forward to another great day tomorrow.
