Cool off this summer with a FREE day at the pool!

OHA is covering the cost of pool admission for a limited number of residents each day at the Flournoy Aquatic Center at Covington Recreation Center.

To receive a voucher, visit your property management office. Vouchers are available for OHA residents and HCV participants. Head of Household must present a valid ID!

OHA is hiring a YouthBuild Job Outreach Coordinator to help connect young adults with opportunities, employers, resources, training, and support that can help change the direction of their future.

We are looking for someone who can build relationships, work with the community, communicate well, and help open doors for others.

Congratulations to Chelsey Thomas on graduating from OHA’s Family Self-Sufficiency Program!

Chelsey successfully completed all of her goals through the program and will now be able to use her escrow funds toward her new home. Her dedication, hard work, and commitment to building a brighter future truly paid off, and we are so proud of her accomplishment.

The FSS Program is designed to help residents work toward long term goals while building savings along the way. Chelsey’s success is a great example of what’s possible through determination and consistency.

Congratulations again, Chelsey, on this exciting new chapter!

Even with the rain, our Mother’s Day Celebration was one to remember. The evening was filled with laughter, good conversation, flowers, sweet treats, and mothers simply enjoying time centered around them.

Congratulations to Opelika 20 Under 40, including OHA's Willie Mixon, on the reveal and ribbon cutting of this year’s beautiful service project at the Lee County Youth Development Center.

The project features an updated recreation space for local youth with refreshed surfaces, repaired equipment, and a beautiful new fence and mural. We were proud to join the Opelika Chamber in celebrating this meaningful investment in the community.
