**May Business Spotlight**
The Ontario Chamber of Commerce is honored to announce the May Spotlight Business, The Ontario Food Pantry. You can find their table at Lyons National Bank in Ontario.
The Ontario Food Pantry was incorporated in 2004 as a community operated independent Food Pantry and Non-profit. They currently have about sixty-five local families per month receiving their help and have helped over a thousand families from the Ontario area since their inception.
All their donations, whether in the form of a can of soup or a monetary check, go directly to their Ontario client’s families. It is still The Pantry’s choice not to receive any government assistance.
They are temporarily located on Lake Road, across the street from Bear Creek Harbor, as they await construction of a new building that will house both the Pantry and the Medical Equipment Loan Closet. This new building will be in downtown Ontario and will be built with local corporations and individual donations.
All contributions continue to go directly to the needy families of Ontario. The more they receive in contributions the more they can give to their client families. Their overhead and administration costs are minimal, and we have no payroll. Since we have 501C3 Non-profit designation, all monetary donations are tax deductible. Any monetary donations would be welcomed and well spent.
