Honoring Lt. Beverly Rodriguez

On September 12, 2026, the NLPOA MN Chapter had the pleasure of hosting our membership meeting at the Chaska Police Department.

We would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to the Chaska Police Department for opening their doors and welcoming our members. We were truly impressed by their professionalism, hospitality, and the warm welcome they extended to everyone in attendance.

This was the first time the NLPOA Minnesota Chapter held a membership meeting at the Chaska Police Department, and we certainly hope it will not be the last!

Thank you again to the Chaska Police Department for supporting our organization and helping make our meeting a success. We greatly appreciate your partnership and hospitality! 💙

URGENT: HELP THE BERMUDEZ FAMILY

Earlier this week, our own suffered a catastrophic loss.
The new President and Secretary of the Mississippi Gulf Coast chapter, a husband and wife team, both serve with the Gulfport Police Department. While they were on duty protecting our community, their home caught fire with their teenage children inside.
By the grace of God, the kids made it out safe. But the family lost everything: their home, personal vehicle, all baby supplies for their newborn, furniture, clothes, and personal belongings.
These two are more than officers. They’re founding members of our new Mississippi Gulf Coast chapter. Before moving south, they were also dedicated members of our Oakland chapter from their time as police officers in California. They’ve spent their lives serving others. Now they need us.

How you can help the Bermudez family right now:
A GoFundMe has been set up to help them rebuild and replace essentials for their 3 teenagers and newborn baby. Every share, prayer, and dollar helps.

If you can’t give, please share this post. Let’s show them what family means. We take care of our own.
