Fire Prevention week! 🔥

The Onida Fire Dept. came to school today to visit with the students about fire safety! Hopefully they ask their families about changing the batteries in the smoke detectors at home! The 8th grade Social Studies class zoomed in on South Dakota and Sully County history.

The students created their own seal for the state of South Dakota based on events and topics leading to statehood. They also completed the "Talking Trail" focusing on the history of different areas around Sully County.

Last Tuesday was a BIG day as our seniors took advantage of Free College Application Period and officially started taking steps toward what their futures will look like after SBHS! 🚀

This is what it’s all about—showcasing their hard work, talents, accomplishments, and education as they begin opening doors to new opportunities. 💙

Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision of their children who are in attendance at Sully Buttes extracurricular events. The ABO School District and staff are not responsible for injuries or incidents involving children who are not supervised by their parent or guardian during these events.

We also ask that parents please help make sure their children pick up after themselves. This includes picking up any trash left in the playground, park, and surrounding areas.
