And a big shoutout to our 3rd graders, who earned the chance to attend the pep rally because of their awesome behavior this week! 👏

Today was more than just the first day of school—it was the first day of another year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and unforgettable memories.

Behind every smiling student is a team of dedicated people who work each day to make Oneonta Elementary School a place where children feel safe, supported, and loved. From our teachers and instructional staff to our office team, custodians, child nutrition workers, counselors, administrators, aides, nurses, bus drivers, and every person in between—each one plays an important role in making OES the special place it is.

We are proud to introduce the incredible faculty and staff who will be cheering on, encouraging, and caring for our students all year long.

Here's to an amazing school year at OES… we can't wait to see all that our students accomplish!

It's almost time for our annual Cheers and Tears Breakfast!

After you give your kindergartener one last hug at morning drop-off, we invite you to join us in the OES Library for coffee, breakfast treats, and fellowship with other kindergarten parents. Whether you're celebrating this milestone or drying a few happy tears, we'd love to spend the morning with you!

Kindergarten Signing Day was such a special morning for our students and their families. Parents began the day in the auditorium, where they learned about all the exciting things their children will experience this year. Then it was time for our newest students to meet their teachers, explore the halls of their new school, and officially sign their names as members of the Oneonta Elementary family!

A very special thank you to the OHS Band members and OHS student-athletes who volunteered their time to cheer on our kindergarteners, welcome them into the building, and help make them feel so celebrated. Your kindness and leadership made a lasting impression on our newest Redskins!
