Oneida Language Department "Our vision is to promote and assist in the use of the Oneida language throughout our communities."

Our Class Schedule is as follows: Monday-Friday 12pm-12:50pm class taught by Curt Summers and Tracy Williams
Monday 5pm-6pm (class on Kaliwiyo) class taught by Leander Danforth

All Classes are taught at the Language House, we also have class 8am-430pm conducted by Leander Danforth, please feel free to come over anytime you would like and join us!

The Oneida Language Department sincerely apologizes for using Canva to create a recent flyer. At the time the flyer was created, we were unaware that Canva incorporated artificial intelligence into some of its design tools and content.

We understand the concerns surrounding the use of AI, particularly when creating materials connected to our language, culture, and community. It was never our intention to disregard those concerns or to misrepresent how the flyer was produced.

We take responsibility for this oversight and will be more diligent in reviewing the platforms, tools, and images used in future departmental materials. We appreciate the community’s understanding as we continue learning and strengthening our practices.
