Due to the cloudy cold and rainy day the Onawa Aquatic Center will not be opening today. We will see everyone tomorrow .

The Onawa Aquatic Center is closing for night pool due chilly weather and low attendance.

Due to low attendance and the weather forecast we will be closing at 2:30. We will be open for night pool tonight from 6:30 to 8:30, we hope to see you all there!!

The City of Onawa is giving back to residents --with FREE SUNDAY NIGHT SWIM. This is FREE for all ages--beginning June 7th. 6:30-8:30 p.m. The broken valve set us back a couple of weeks so we were unable to open as soon as school was out. We want our community to be able to enjoy the pool as often as possible this summer! 🏊‍♂️🌞

Water aerobics start tomorrow, Wednesday June 10th at 5:00 p.m. Instructor Elizabeth Sturgill will be utilizing these water weights more than pool noodles this year. A generous donor provided these new weights to the pool in 2025.
Other classes are Thursdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

Happy Sunday! Our water test is all good . However thunderstorms are expected to roll in this afternoon. We will be open tomorrow, Monday, June 8 at 1:30 p.m. for public swim! See you all soon!
