residential candidate received 1% of the votes. That's about 1.5 million voters who voted for what they believe. 10,500 of those votes came from registered voters here in Nebraska. That's impressive! Douglas County is part of the Nebraska Congressional District 2. While the majority of Nebraska is aligned with the Republican Party, District 2 is closely divided between the Republican and Democratic parties. This is where the Libertarians come in. The Libertarian Party is the 3rd largest political party in the US and continues to grow exponentially each year. It's relatively easy to register as a Libertarian Voter in Nebraska.
