SERVICE LEARNING SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Students in TED 2350 – Play in Early Childhood Inclusive, taught by Dr. Burke, partnered with Educare of Omaha – Indian Hill to create a pop-up play experience for children and their families. Through a Service-Learning Academy partnership, UNO students facilitated hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities that encouraged learning, creativity, and connection through play 🎨🧩

The event gave students an opportunity to apply classroom concepts in a real-world setting while supporting young children and their families. A meal was also provided for participants, creating a welcoming community experience.
