On June 2nd, we gathered in our backyard for a picnic with our neighbors.

It was a day filled with food, music, conversation, and community.

Thank you to every volunteer who helped prepare, serve, welcome, and make the day feel special. These moments matter, and we are grateful for the chance to serve our neighbors with dignity, compassion, and care.

We're looking forward to Saturday’s Strawberry Brunch, our only fundraiser of the year!

Although registration to attend has now closed, you can still participate in the fun and support the Society by bidding in our Silent Auction. Simply create and activate a bidding account through ReadySetAuction to browse and bid on our auction items. Bidding closes at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 13.

You can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win one of three cash prizes. Online raffle ticket sales end at 11:59 p.m. tonight, so don’t miss your opportunity to enter!

The 6 News WOWT “Stuff the Truck” food drive to benefit the Society’s downtown food pantry is well underway. Despite the rain, SSVP volunteers and staff from First Alert 6 and Methodist Physicians Clinic Indian Hills are happily accepting donations until 6 pm. There’s still plenty of time, so stop on out and donate non-perishable food at either drop-off location: the Methodist Women’s Clinic at 707 North 190th Street or the Methodist’s Physician’s Clinic at 8901 Dodge Street! Thank You!

Next Thursday, June 4th is this summer's Stuff the Truck event!

Drop off your food donations between 6am and 6pm at either the Methodist Physician's Clinic (8901 Dodge St) and the Methodist Women's Hospital (707 North 190th St)! All donations received at these two locations will go to our SSVP Omaha Food Pantry. Your support will help feed our neighbors in need! 💙

Registration for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha’s 17th Annual Strawberry Brunch closes soon, and we would truly love for you to join us! 🍓🍓🍓

All proceeds benefit the SSVP Omaha Food Pantry, which provides groceries and fresh food to more than 26,000 individuals each year!

This Saturday was Stamp Out Hunger! Thanks to the help of local letter carriers and so many generous donors, our pantry received 26 pallets of food to serve our hungry neighbors in need! 💙

Today, our pantry volunteers are busy organizing this incredible amount of food to prepare for our pantry visitors tomorrow!

Our Strawberry Brunch raffle has officially begun! Tickets start at just $10. The drawing will take place during the brunch, but you do not have to attend the brunch to purchase a ticket!

We are also approaching our RSVP deadline (May 15th)! If you would like to attend the brunch, and enjoy a wonderful buffet, mimosas and bloody marys, and the chance to participate in our silent auction, please RSVP today!
