💎 Diamonds are Forever!💎

Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone as MSgt Rashan Taggart closes out an extraordinary 24 years of service and begins a well-earned new chapter beyond the uniform.

For more than two decades, he stood the watch, answered the call, and dedicated his life to serving something greater than himself. From his roots as a Security Forces Defender to his time wearing the Diamond, his career has been defined by sacrifice, selflessness, and an unwavering commitment to taking care of others.

As Defenders, they are taught to stand between danger and those they protect to be the shield when others need one. MSgt Taggart embodied that calling throughout his career. Whether protecting installations, leading Airmen through adversity, or advocating for families during their toughest moments, he never hesitated to put others before himself. He understood that leadership wasn't about rank, recognition, or accolades, it was about the people.

And while the awards, decorations, and accomplishments tell part of the story, they don't tell the most important one.

The greatest legacy of a career isn't found in a shadow box, an EPB, or a list of achievements. It's found in the family that stood beside him through every late-night phone call, every deployment, every missed holiday, every sacrifice, and every challenge. Through every season of service, his family was the foundation that made it all possible.

As an Eagles fan, you know better than most that championships aren't won by one player alone. They're built through trust, sacrifice, perseverance, and an entire team pulling together toward something bigger than themselves. Your Air Force career was much the same. You gave everything you had to your team, your Airmen, your fellow First Sergeants, and your mission. You carried the ball when times were tough, protected your teammates when they needed support, and inspired those around you to be better every day.

Now, after 24 remarkable years, you've reached your own championship parade.
It's time to trade the radio calls and late-night phone notifications for family dinners, new adventures, and memories with those who have been cheering you on from the sidelines all along. The next chapter belongs to you and your family…a chapter you've more than earned.

The Offutt First Sergeant Council, Team Offutt, and the countless Airmen whose lives you've touched are better because of your leadership, mentorship, and friendship. Your impact will continue to ripple through generations of Airmen long after you've hung up the uniform.

Thank you for standing the watch.
Thank you for defending others.
Thank you for leading with heart.
Thank you for showing us what service before self truly looks like.

As you embark on this next journey, know that your legacy remains, your influence endures, and your Diamond family will always be cheering you on.

Because once a Defender, always a Defender.

And once a Diamond, always a Diamond.💎

Congratulations on your retirement MSgt Taggart! May your next chapter be filled with the same purpose, joy, and love that you gave so freely to others.

❤️♦️Shirt Care Session♦️❤️

There’s a truth many people don’t see behind the Diamond… As First Sergeants, we spend so much of our time carrying the weight for others, checking on our Airmen, answering late-night calls, helping people through their hardest moments, and making sure everyone else is okay…But…somewhere in the middle of serving others, we sometimes forget to pause and take care of ourselves too.

Today was a powerful reminder that self-care is not weakness… it’s necessary.

A huge heartfelt thank you to Major Arias for continuously pouring into us and reminding us that even the caretakers need care. Through sessions like Progressive Relaxation and other wellness tools, she helped us learn how to slow our minds, release tension, breathe through stressful moments, and navigate the chaos with a healthier mindset.

In a profession where emotions run high and the mission never seems to stop, those moments of reflection and reset mean more than words can describe.
As much as we advocate resilience for others, Major Arias reminded us that resilience also starts within ourselves.

Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is simply breathe, step back, and allow ourselves grace.

It’s bittersweet knowing this was her final Shirt Care session with us. Major Arias, thank you for your compassion, your wisdom, your patience, and for always making sure the First Sergeants were taken care of too. Your impact reached far beyond a session, you created a safe space for leaders who are often expected to always “have it together.”

That kind of care leaves a lasting mark.
You will truly be missed, but we know your next chapter will continue to change lives and serve others the same way you always have.

To everyone reading this: please take care of yourselves too. Breathe deeply. Unclench your mind. Rest when needed.

Talk to someone. Practice self-care without guilt. Even the strongest people need moments to recharge.

You cannot pour from an empty cup. 💎

💎 Diamond Sharp Award | 55 MXS 💎

We recognized an NCO who leads from the front and serves from the heart🫶🏻. He doesn’t just take care of his team…he shows up for everyone! He is the kind of leader you lean on when the road gets heavy, because you know he’ll carry the weight and still make sure no one gets left behind.

With grit, humility, and genuine care for people, he has built one of the strongest resiliency teams in the squadron, fostering a culture where Airmen feel seen, supported, and inspired to keep pushing forward no matter the odds. He doesn’t just meet the standard… he raises it, lifting others along the way.

Leaders like this don’t just make an impact, they leave a legacy. And it’s easy to see and wouldn’t be surprised for a future where he continues that legacy as a Diamond, serving others at the highest level.

Please join me in congratulating

⛽️ Operation Epic Fuelly⛽️

Happy Friday Warhawks!

Today we didn’t just pump gas…we pumped a little extra kindness into the tank of our base community. Our amazing Operation Warmheart Council, alongside our fantastic First Sergeants, set out with one goal: give back to the warriors who keep this mission moving every single day!

Because sometimes, it’s not about how far the fuel takes you… it’s about knowing someone had your back along the way. One fill-up, one smile, one moment of connection at a time! We helped top off more than just tanks. We lifted spirits.

Call it small if you want, but today proved that even the simplest acts can drive something powerful. And judging by the energy, the gratitude, and the unity we saw across base… this was a full tank success!

Proud to be part of a team that never runs empty when it comes to taking care of our own. 💙🫶🏻🔷

Even with the chill in the air and the wind rolling through, Offutt’s Easter Egg Scramble reminded us what truly warms the day and that is togetherness!

From Shirts pouring hot cocoa, serving delightful donuts🍩 , and keeping the coffee☕️ flowing, to families sharing laughs and little ones chasing the joyful eggs across the lawn, every moment was filled with heart. It wasn’t just about staying warm… it was about showing up for one another.

This Easter weekend was a simple, powerful reminder: when we come together with kindness and purpose, we create a warmth no weather can touch.

Grateful for every smile, every helping hand, and every heart that made the day so special!

Two powerful moments for our First Sergeant Council this week. Moments that capture both the sunrise and the sunset of what it truly means to wear the diamond.

To CMSgt Select Daniel Schultz, as you set the diamond down, know that what you carried never leaves you. Because being a First Sergeant was never about a symbol on your chest… it was about the weight you willingly carried for others. The Airmen you fought for when no one else saw the battle. The families you protected during their hardest days. The standards you held when it would’ve been easier to let them slip. You didn’t just wear the diamond, you became it. And as you step into the next chapter as a Chief, your horizon only grows wider. Once a diamond, always a diamond. Legacies like yours don’t end… they rise.

And to our El Presidente, MSgt Devin Milam, being named First Sergeant of the Year isn’t a spotlight moment… it’s a reflection of a thousand unseen ones. The late nights. The heavy conversations. The quiet sacrifices. The moments you chose people over comfort, service over self, and purpose over recognition. You represent the underdog story we all carry, that greatness isn’t reserved for the loudest voice in the room, but for the one who shows up, over and over, when it matters most.

This week reminds all of us who wear or have worn the diamond:

It’s not about the rank you hold. It’s about the lives you lift.

It’s not about standing in the spotlight. It’s about standing in the gap.

Some diamonds are rising with the sun. Some are setting into a new horizon. But both shine the same because the light was never about the moment… it was about the impact.

We are proud to serve beside you both & proud to be with our Offutt’s First Sergeant Council Ohana! 🤙🏼🫶🏻💎

💎 Diamond Sharp Award | 55 FSS 💎

In the Force Support Squadron, they stand in the gap through life’s hardest moments and greatest milestones. They ensure no Airman walks alone and no family is forgotten. Because when we care for our people with heart, the mission doesn’t just move forward, it thrives!

And when you think of the word passion, SSgt Alyssa Lofton should immediately come to mind.

Her passion isn’t just enthusiasm, it’s advocacy. It’s protection. It’s an unwavering commitment to her Airmen. She speaks up when it matters most. She leans in when others step back. She follows through long after the spotlight fades. She doesn’t just say she cares, she proves it.

Whether closing long-standing mortuary cases with dignity and precision or fiercely defending and guiding her team, she demonstrates that taking care of business and taking care of people are never separate missions…they are one and the same.

She doesn’t just meet the standard, she elevates it. She doesn’t just support readiness, she builds it from the inside out.

Her selection as a Military Training Instructor is no surprise. The next generation of Airmen is gaining a leader whose passion will shape them from day one. A leader who will always go above and beyond for the mission and her people.

Please join us in congratulating

💎 Diamond Sharp Award | 20 IS 💎

TGIF!

Today, we recognize an Airman whose impact is felt far beyond what can ever be briefed, documented, or spoken aloud. Some contributions live in the shadows by necessity, but their effects shine unmistakably bright. 💎

SrA Landin Kralovic is the embodiment of quiet grit and unwavering integrity. From the moment he arrived in the “Best Damn Targeting Squadron”, he didn’t just step into a mission, he helped build one! Entrusted to lead a shop that didn’t even exist, he forged it into a now a 40-member team through trust, resilience, and relentless care for his people. That kind of leadership can’t be tasked,it’s earned!

Much of what SrA Kralovic does will never make it into a citation, and that’s the nature of the intelligence profession. But what can be said is this…his heart for service doesn’t stop at the SCIF door. While carrying the weight of the mission and manpower, he also stepped up in the most human way possible, taking responsibility for his siblings and proving that leadership is not defined by rank, but by sacrifice.

SrA Kralovic, your commitment to people, your resolve in adversity, and your instinct to protect what matters most represent the very best of . You remind us that in the intelligence community, excellence isn’t just about what we know, it’s about who we are when no one is watching.

Please join me in congratulating

Honored by yours truly, Big AL!

Today, we didn’t just recognize excellence, we showed up for it. Some of us First Sergeants even brought the high-and-tight commitment, rocking flat tops in honor of Flat Top February, because leadership isn’t just spoken… it’s worn with pride.

We proudly celebrate an Airman who shines under pressure like a true diamond. 💎 A1C Fabiola Villagomez consistently rises to every challenge, leads with integrity, and brings the kind of resilience that keeps the mission breathable, even when the environment gets tough.
