Stepping into independence isn’t easy, especially without the built-in support system so many young people rely on.

For youth aging out of foster care, this transition often means navigating housing, finances, and everyday life largely on their own. Our Independent Living Program is designed to be that steady support and connection as they move into adulthood.

We help set youth up in their own apartments, support them in finding employment, building financial skills, and planning for their future, while also providing the everyday essentials that help a space feel like home.

Our commitment doesn’t end at 18, because our support is rooted in real relationships that continue well beyond care. 🏠💙

Integrated Family Care was created with one goal at its core: keeping families together. Apex developed IFC as the first program of its kind in Nebraska, in response to the gaps we saw in how families were being supported. Too often, families were separated due to preventable circumstances and we knew there had to be a better way. At Apex we operate on the belief that families are better together.
