I was holding off on this until I got the decision from my hearing about receiving continued help from Community Alliance, here in Omaha, NE.

While programs like Community Alliance provide vital short-term assistance and are great resources when you need help, it is crucial to remember that community services like these are not permanent solutions. They have an expiration date—typically a three-year limit in the case of Community Alliance—and understanding that timeline is essential for long-term planning.Ultimately, I feel let down by Community Alliance after years of relying on them for help.

With what time I do get to spend with my kids, we know that you can make anything fun with the right people.

You are in charge of your own security.
And the horrible truth is you will quickly learn to not trust anyone. I've seen first-hand other homeless people I've met, that were friends for years, so some horrible s**t to each other. Be careful.
