The Washington Council of County Surveyors (WCCS) was formed in 1992 to provide a forum for the exchange of information between and among surveyors engaged in work by and for county governments and other related agencies and organizations; to provide an opportunity for peer group review; to enhance the learning of the members from the experiences of other surveyors engaged in similiar work; to dis

cuss and develop training techniques for its members and their staff; to provide for the exchange of information with other disciplines engaged in work by and for county governments and other municipalities; to enhance the members skills and abilities to perform their professional assignments; to provide for technology transfer of new technologies, i.e. LIS, GIS, GPS; to enhance the profession of land surveying. The WCCS is an affiliate of the National Council of County Surveyors (NACS).
