Where do you take 10 indie game designers from Washington State? Tokyo Game Market, of course.

Tokyo Game Market is a two-day convention produced by Arclight that welcomes about 30,000 visitors over the weekend. Exhibitors include independent and large tabletop game companies, digital artists, writers, and game accessory producers. Attendees include individual players, international distributors, publishers, and game companies from around the world.

For our Washington game companies, this was the moment our trade mission was building toward. Over the week and throughout the weekend, they connected face-to-face with publishers, distributors, and media, discussing their games, building relationships, and, in some cases, contracting to have their games distributed in Japan and beyond.

Trade missions open doors, and we'll introduce each of our Washington-based game companies throughout the weekend. Stay tuned!

Game companies in attendance include: Night Crew Games, Indipro Games, Fun First Productions, Legends of Gadia Card Game, Coin Flip Games, LLC, Zac Makes Games, World of Kylia, BeastHunt by Monzee Games, and HG Endeavours.
