In 2022, U.S. Army veteran Kevin Wilson and his service dog Calvin completed the first-ever Warrior Hike of the entire 1,500-mile 9/11 National Memorial Trail. Since then, veterans have continued to walk and ride it as part of their own journeys home. This Trail carries more than one kind of story. 911trail.org

Today's the Day! Swing by until 6 to drop off school supplies for the Little Red Schoolhouse. Cash donations are great too! Steamboat Lions are collecting at Prosperity Grange WA #315 near Griffin Fire Department headquarters and STAC Steamboat Tennis & Athletic Club on Steamboat Island Road. Most needed items - composition notebooks, 24 count crayola crayons, Elmer's glue sticks, and new backpacks. And did I mention cash?
