Here's more info about South Union Grange's April 25 agricultural program for kids (10 am to 1 pm). Kids need to be accompanied by at least one adult, please, and the whole family is welcome.

Bring the kiddos & join us next Saturday April 25 for a fun filled workshop on The Agricultural Legacy of Thurston County.
From 10am to 1pm we will learn about The Secret Under Our Feet"... An immersive workshop that transforms local history into a call for modern stewardship. By connecting the 100+ year legacy of the Grange with the scientific wonders of our local soil, we will empower the next generation to become Soil Stewards.
A few soil engineer friends will be attending too!! Hope to see you there!!

Hey parents, bring your grade school kids to South Union Grange on Saturday April 25 and hear about some of the agricultural history of the area. Learn how soil mixes with water and plant some seeds to take home. This free event starts at 10 am and goes until 1 pm. Come out and enjoy this fun educational opportunity.
The Grange is located at 10030 Tilley Road S. (opposite 101st Ave. SW, between the airport and Millersylvania State Park).

Every Tuesday this month, we are bringing you a Grange "Pro-Tip" to help local Granges promote the Grange.

This week's Pro-Tip:
🔹 When referring to our organization, Grange is always capitalized. 🔹

That’s because "Grange" isn’t just a general term—it’s a proper name that represents a national, grassroots organization with a proud history dating back to 1867.

Using a capital “G” helps distinguish the National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry from the everyday word “grange,” which can simply mean a farm or agricultural building.

It may seem like a small detail, but it reflects respect for our identity, our mission, and the generations of members who have built the Grange into what it is today.
