Rep. Stephanie McClintock and I had a good meeting with the Editorial Board at The Columbian!

I appreciated the opportunity to speak with them about the 2025-26 legislative session and the Washington State House Republicans perspective!

This last session proved it: the fight for common sense in Washington is far from over. While the majority pushed higher spending, more regulation, and policies driven by special interests, I stood firm for you - fighting for safer communities, lower taxes, and accountable government.

I led efforts to:
• Crack down on fatal hit-and-run offenders
• Strengthen laws protecting children from sexual exploitation
• Push back on policies that tie the hands of law enforcement
• Defend parents and ensure serious decisions about minors aren’t taken lightly
• Oppose higher taxes and out-of-control spending

Let’s be clear - Washington doesn’t have a revenue problem. It has a spending problem.

The 25th District is a battleground, and outside groups are already gearing up to pour money into this race. I’m not backing down, but I need your help.

If you’re ready to stand with me, please consider making a contribution today at cyndyjacobsen.com. Every dollar helps us fight back and win.

Together, we can fight for a safer, more affordable, and more accountable Washington.

“Washington ranks dead last in three of the four spending categories,” said Baruch Feigenbaum, Senior Managing Director of transportation policy at Reason Foundation. “When you have really high spending, and that’s not translating into a good system, that results in a poor ranking.”

It's official: it's "all hands on deck" for my 2026 reelection campaign!

Why am I running for reelection?

Our state is at a crossroads. On one hand, we can choose to make Washington less affordable and competitive, and more hostile to traditional values and rural way of life. On the other hand, we can stop the relentless drive for tax increases, ever-increasing regulatory creep, and hostility toward traditional values that emanates out of Olympia today.

In other words, we can fight back.

I did it for two years in Olympia. But I need your help to keep doing so.

We’ve accomplished a lot together. We passed four bills designed to serve our veteran community and foster rural lifestyles. We stayed up all night in the record-setting 24.5 hour floor battle on the state income tax debate. We fought against the expansion of powers for the Attorney General’s Office. And we fought for lower taxes, protection of your right to bear arms, and to defend the most vulnerable in our society.

The other side doesn’t like that. I fully expect them to come after me with everything they have. I need your help to keep fighting for our values.

I’m proud to announce that I’m running for re-election to the Washington State House, representing the 17th District, Position 1.

From Vancouver to Goldendale, this district is diverse, hardworking, and deeply connected—and I take seriously the responsibility to represent every part of it. Whether you live in our growing urban areas or our rural communities, you deserve to be heard and represented.

My focus remains clear: improving affordability for families, strengthening community safety, investing in infrastructure that supports real economic development, and ensuring our schools are fully funded so every student has the opportunity to succeed. We also need roads that are safe and reliable for everyone who depends on them every day.

There’s more to do, and I’m committed to continuing this work for all of Southwest Washington.

I’d be grateful for your support.

Let’s keep moving forward—together.
