Pioneer Elementary School is located on the corner of Carlyon and Henderson Boulevard near Olympia High School. Our service area reaches out to several neighborhoods of southeast Olympia. Because of its proximity, Pioneer is truly a neighborhood school. Named in honor of the pioneers who settled the southeast Olympia area, the school was completed in September, 1969.

Join us for our first PTA Board & Community Meeting: Volunteer Info Night! This Thursday, Sept. 17 at 6 pm in the Pioneer Library. Learn about volunteering at Pioneer, ask questions, and find an opportunity that fits you. Already signed up or not ready to volunteer? This night is still for you! We’ll also brainstorm ideas and hear from our community. We’ll provide snacks, followed by a social hour at Pints Barn at 8 p.m. Looking forward to a fun year of building community & supporting our school!

We are looking forward to meeting our incoming Kindergarten students and their families. Please join us at one or both of these upcoming play dates which will take place on the school’s playground. You’ll also be able to meet some of our PTA parents and learn more about membership & all the fun we plan to have throughout this year. Mark your calendars! We can’t wait to meet you soon!
