Stuck on an escalator: This video reflects what can happen when adults get overwhelmed to the point where they are frustrated and “Stuck”. Objective viewers can clearly see the answer but sometimes when you are in the middle of a struggle the answers can be hard to find and one can feel powerless- with no Agency and may just need to be heard- without judgement. Even when asking for help sometimes the help is offered.. and that help gets stuck.. so it can feel very discounting, humiliating, and dehumanizing “nothing to be done”.. “might as well give up”. FESS strives to empower- and help up- not a hand out.
